Finger Licking Good

My messy little Cuddle-bug was enjoying his yogurt for breakfast this morning. He was all full of smiles thinking the messier he got, the better it was. Needless to say, by the time he was finished.......it was bathtime! He smeared yogurt all over his hands, face and head. He even decided to help Mama by taking his yogurt covered bib off himself and threw it on the floor to make even a bigger mess. You gotta love these mornings :)

My Little Conductor

Here is my adorable little Train Conductor. This is just one of the three Dramatic Play Outfits we just recently got that he absolutely loves!

Hug-a-bug is completely fascinated with Thomas The Train and he keeps asking for Magnetic Choo-Choo's for his upcoming birthday. I guess we might have to spoil him a little with his birthday wishes :)

This picture was taken about 5 years ago when my parents had an apartment in Alameda for business. This was the view from there balcony overlooking Alameda at night. It was so breathtaking and beautiful to sit out and enjoy the view. Scott and I were fortunate enough to partake in this adventure every few weekeneds and spend time with my parents and taking trips to San Francisco.
I have to share with you all that this picture is very special to us. When the Alameda branch closed with my dad's business they were upset to lose the apartment, but it took a toll on my dad going back and forth managing both the Fresno & Alameda branch. The Christmas before my dad passed away, my husband took a panoramic picture overlooking the view from the balcony and took it into kinko's and had it blown up oversized and framed it. When my dad opened it for Christmas, it brought tears to us all because it brought back all the precious memories and the fun we had as a family. This memory will be held close to our hearts forever thinking of you.........We Love You Dad!

Hug-a-bug's 1st Flowbee Haircut

Most of you are probably not aware, but my husband Scott has been cutting his own hair ever since we have been married (10 years). We have been wanting to give our older son (nickname: hug-a-bug) a haircut to save on money, but he has always been scared of the Flowbee. Just recently, hug-a-bug has been very interested in watching daddy cut his own hair, so we decided it was about time to try it out. Daddy wanted to make sure he was not afraid, so he eased him into it by starting to show him how it all works. Much to our surprise, he was smiling and laughing the whole time and thought it was the coolest thing feeling his hair suck up into the cutting chamber and making such a loud sound.

Daddy did such a great job, so I think this will now officially be his new chore every few months. We save on money and it's one less thing I can take off my mommy to-do-list. SCORE!
