My Daycare

UPDATE: I got a call this morning from the Mom of these two little cute guys that I was going to start watching for my daycare. She informed me that she is really bummed and felt bad for telling me this, but her husband lost his job and she wouldn't be able to put her boys in my daycare right now. It's such a hard situation to go through, but I totally understand. It's happened to my husband and I and that's the reason why we decided to open a home daycare! To supplement our income and for me to be able to stay home with my kids!

It happens to the best of us! BUT for whatever reason, God will work things out. I will pray for this wonderful family and hope things work out for them. The great thing about this is we have made good friends already and have gotten the kids together for playdates, which this will continue regardless of what happens! They are such a giving and sweet family that they felt so bad for me holding the spot for their boys for a few weeks and turning down other offers, they want to pay me for a month for the trouble. How awesome are they!?!?!? God will bless them with something great and everything happens for a reason.

So.........now, I have currently have two openings for my daycare! If you or anyone you know is looking for daycare, please don't hesitate to contact me for any questions you may have, or to schedule a time to meet. Thanks for keeping me in mind! :)

**************************************************************************************

I am truly blessed to be a stay at home mommy with my kids and run my home daycare at the same time. I love what I do and I am so thankful for what God has called me to do! Yes.....some days can be hectic, frustrating and a little stressful, but it's nothing that God feels we can't handle. At the end of the day, I feel excited to wake up the next morning and have a fresh start with these amazing little ones. They bring such a smile to my face everyday and I look forward to each and every moment I get to spend with them.

I currently have one daycare kid that I take care of right now full-time and I absolutely love him! He is so adorable and he's the happiest little boy ever! His parents are very sweet and such a pleasure to work with. It couldn't have been a better fit!

I had two more daycare openings left so I would either watch my friends kids or I would provide drop-in care whenever needed. It was nice being flexible and helping people out when they needed it, but I was hoping to get another full-time kid because it would help us get a little more financially stable and it's easier for the kids to adjust to one another having the same children around all the time. I'm excited to tell you all that My Daycare is NOW FULL!

God is so Good! He always works things out even when we least expect it. God has blessed me with adding two more little boys to my daycare. They are siblings and they are the same age as my youngest two boys. They are going to have so much fun together! The parents are great and I'm excited to start working with them soon. We have had a few play dates so far and the kids get along great. The boys will start in October at my daycare because that's when my openings become available for their age group. They are willing to hold the spot for their boys until then because they felt I would provide the best care for their sons and they felt very comfortable with me! That's such an honor for someone to tell you how they feel, especially knowing how much they are trusting me with their precious little ones. I'm basically providing a home away from home for them.

Wow.........I know when October comes, I will be one busy mama! 6 boys all under the age of 3. I know, it might sound crazy to some of you, but this will be a start to a new adventure and we will have loads of fun! "Thank you Lord for the blessings you have bestowed upon me".

Super Sidewalk Paint

I was trying to find some creative ideas for outside play with my kids as well as my daycare kids. I wanted to save money, but also be able to make it with just a couple of common kitchen ingredients that do not cost very much. I came across this article in my magazine "Family Fun" for Super Sidewalk Paint! It works great and it's such a fantastic idea! The kids have such a great time painting the sidewalks making fun designs. Some other neat ideas are: design driveway murals, lay out roads for their bikes and toy cars or even decorate the walkways for the holidays. Simple huh? This makes for an easy clean-up and hours of fun! To wash the paint off, simply spray the area with water.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
Food coloring
Paintbrush

In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and cold water. Stir in as many drops of food coloring as you need to get your desired color. Repeat this process for each paint color.

Tip: You can also put it in a spray bottle and use it to color sand castles and snow sculptures.

Enjoy! :)

3 Months Already!

My sweet little Jeremiah is 3 months old already! 15 weeks and 3 days to be exact! Wow........where has the time gone? It feels like it was just yesterday that I brought him home from the hospital. Even though I have gone through the baby stages with my other two boys, I am still in awe of all the new little things Jeremiah is starting to do! Jeremiah is rolling over onto his tummy and then back onto his back again. He is holding his head up almost all by himself. He is smiling alot and making sounds by coo-ing & laughing. He is very aware of everything going on around him and he loves to stare at his older brothers and smile at them. He has now found his fingers as a new pacifier and he likes to suck on either two or three fingers at a time. He loves listening to music and kicks his feet with excitement. He is so cuddly and loves to be held and loved on all the time. He is my little lovebug! I just love this stage that Jeremiah is at right now.

On one hand, I can't wait to see my boys grow up and what the future holds, but at the same time I don't want them to grow up because I know they won't be my little babies anymore. I feel so blessed to be a mother of three amazing little boys and I cherish each and every moment I have with them. "Thank you God for the blessings you have given me"!

Bob The Builder

My mom and I took the boys to the Fresno Metropolitan Museum to see Bob The Builder on Friday. The boys were so excited when they found out what we were doing, that they could hardly wait. Once we walked in & they saw Bob, their faces lit up with the biggest smile

4th of July

We had such a blast celebrating the 4th of July with our very close friends. We had a fun filled day which included: BBQ'ing, swimming, pool volleyball, games and lots of delicious food! Later that evening, we all headed to Buchanan to watch the fireworks show. The fireworks were awesome, but the NOISE was way too LOUD! Much too loud for infants that is! Little Jeremiah didn't like the noise and I had to cover his ears to muffle the sound. He finally got comfortable enough that he fell asleep on me in his Baby Bjorn. Preston & Noah had such a great time that they were not wanting the day to end. What a great way to end the day!

Having fun playing pool volleyball.

They had about 6 balls going all at one time!

My sweet little Jeremiah!

His smile melts Mama's heart. :)

Thank you John & Laurie for hosting this fabulous BBQ at your place and for all the hard work you put in to create such a fun day. We love you guys!

Sewing Club- Project #2

I just finished my second block square today for our sewing club. It wasn't as complicated as I thought it would be. It was actually pretty easy to do. I had alot of fun doing it and now I am ready to start working on my third project this weekend to catch up! I enjoy sewing very much and it's very relaxing. I'm not very good at sewing yet, but I'm hoping to get better with lots of practice. That's why I am so excited our church New Cov decided to start a sewing club. What a better way to enjoy something you love to do and get to bond with other Christian Woman Sewers!

This pattern is called the "Monkey Wrench".
