New Nickname???

This might seem like a silly request, but...........

Ever since our 1st son was born, we nicknamed him hug-a-bug because of how much he loved to give hugs and love. When our 2nd son was born, his nickname soon became cuddle-bug because he always loved to be held and snuggled all the time. These nicknames suit them well and they love hearing their nicknames all the time. Now that our 3rd son will be arriving soon, I am trying to think of a few good nicknames that we can see would be a good fit once we see a glimpse of his personality. I want to keep it the same with ending in "bug" if possible. I am open for any suggestions you all may have. This will be fun to see what you all have in mind. Thanks for your help!

  1. This one has bug in it. I used to call my best friends little girl bugaboo, like the sleeping bag and camping supply company. My dad new the creator of bugaboo in college and I have a sleeping bag that brand and she fell asleep in it one time when we were camping so I called her my little bugaboo. I occasionally call Ethan bugaboo but I don't mind sharing the name. Copying is the best form of flattery in my opinion! Let me know if it works!

  2. It's hard to pick out a nickname before they arrive. It usually takes us a couple of months before one sticks with our kids. I know, no help at all from me.

  3. Lauren was my stink bug and Ben was my cuddle bug. Neither name stuck, but it was fun to have while they lasted. Why the bug?? Still not sure, but it seems to be a common theme with little ones.

*And for the record...Lauren never stunk...it's just what we called her. ;)

  4. Caleb was "Stinkbug" too from the time he was born! I had no idea that other families used the bug-theme nicknames but yes they are very popular. Noah took on Beetlebug and Elizabeth had to be Ladybug. Now Caleb has decided he is not a Stinkbug, he's a Superbug. He want's to be a super hero when he grows up! :) I wish the bug-theme wasn't so popular, kind of a bummer... who knew?
