Festivity Fun: Day 1

I'm not a big fan on celebrating or decorating for Halloween, but I thought it would be fun for the kids to create a week of fun with ideas such as: orange, pumpkins, edible & memories. We will see what this week has in store for us. This was today's FUN!

The kids LOVED drinking orange milk with their special pumpkin straws.

I made orange jello jigglers and poured them into silicone pumpkin ice cube trays to have these cute little bite size snacks.

The kids helped cut these pumpkin shapes out with a pumpkin cookie cutter. They had so much fun!
They cut out more shapes with a small leaf cookie cutter. They picked this one out!
This is their Scarecrow coloring page they colored on. I think they were more excited about the craft, that they didn't want to finish coloring their page. :)

Here are their little treat bags that they started decorating today. This is to hold a special little project we are working on for their mommy's or grandma. Stayed tuned to see the finished project and what's going to be inside! :)

  1. That looks like a lot of fun! I tried the cookie cutter jello, but my jello did not set correctly and it was a slimmy mess! You are very creative when it comes to crafts with the kids.

  2. Sooooo cute!!! I love it! Those are great ideas. We don't do Halloween over here, either, but we'll make it a family night for celebrating God's harvest and focus on witnessing to others. I have plans for pumpkin or spider-web pizzas and talking about Jesus when we cut our pumpkins. And now...we'll do pumpkin jigglers! Thanks for the idea!
